April fools.
All around the world people do it. All your friends are suddenly pregnant, and right now everyone on twitter seems to be a celebrity.
Justin biebers all around the world are actually following and tweeting each other. Its an absolute mess and I love it.
But there is one question that kept on bothering me. Why do we "celebrate" this day?
Well as the massive nerd I am i looked it up at the website of national geographic and found the following theories!
There is a theory that its originated from the French and started around the 1500s. When they changed their calendar to match the roman one and have their new year beginning in january instead of (and you might already have guessed it) april 1st.
Not everyone was aware of the calendar change and still continued to celebrate new years on april 1st, and those people now became known as "april fools".
I do kinda fancy this theory but a guy named Boese isn't buying this one and says that april fools simply came out of an old European tradition of spring festivals to refresh, where people would prank and wear foolish clothes!
I think this thing will continue to be a mystery but until then.. Lets enjoy being allowed to be bloody annoying!

P.s. I'm pregnant of twins, changed my name to justin bieber and am gonna chop my hear of like miley cyrus..... ;)
